Doing Time In Facebook Jail- How to Avoid it

For many of us online marketer facebook is a must have tool to promote our business, plus it's free and easy to do so. The problem is , many marketer don't know the rules or even read them until we get put into FACEBOOK JAIL.

What is Facebook Jail?

Facebook Jail is when Facebook punish an account (profile or business page) -it could be that it blocks some features or disable the full account- because it breaks Facebook laws (post inappropriate content, post too fast, give too many likes, etc.).

Here are the specifics actions prohibited by Facebook.
  • No nudity or sexually suggestive content.
  • No hate speech, credible threats, or direct attacks on an individual or group.
  • No content that contains self-harm or excessive content.
  • No fake or imposter timelines.
  • No SPAM.
What to do, if you're in facebook jail and how to get out!

1. How To Avoid Facebook Jail

One of the most important strategies in this regard is creating original content.
Experience shows that administrators are often blocked because they’ve used images from Google’s search results, which had already been marked as SPAM. Basically, if you use the pictures that Google suggests, you run risk that they are actually photographs that have previously been reported on Facebook as spam. That means, when you go to share them, your post will also obtain all the complaints that photo might already have.

2.Get out of Facebook Jail: Let some time pass between posts

Whether it’s because of enthusiasm, in a  productivity rush or persistence, we often end up posting identical content in multiple groups or pages at the same exact time. This is the type of behavior that gets us into trouble with the “Facebook Sheriff” as he’s on the hunt for SPAMMERS.

 3.Blocked from sending friend

Nice people are getting banned by Face Book and it could happen to you, too. The reason is because when you get a friend request, if you click the "Not Now" button, you will automatically receive a request from Face Book asking, "Do you know this person?" If you click on “No”, that person will automatically be suspended from group chats, blocked from sending friend requests and other things for 7-30 days.

4.Don't send Too Many Messages:

Facebook messages are beneficial if you are using them in an honest and professional way. But if you are not, it's  annoy the Facebook Police. If a user sends a message to anyone even people they know it can be marked as spam. Too many of those "unwanted" designations can get your account in a "pickle jar". Another big mistake is sending too many messages in a short period of time. The kicker is that Facebook doesn't have any guidelines regarding how many is "too many" and in what time frame. You may be super-stoked about your upcoming book deal or event, but sending out messages in a rapid-fire fashion will only get you in hot water.

5 Ease Up On  Tagging (and Adding!)

We’ve all seen these posts. “Hi, there friend! I just had to share this AMAZING new product!” (followed by tags of 75 people) Here's the real deal? Facebook hates mass tagging and so do most Facebook users. I know I hate it personally.
Use tagging conservatively, if at all. And like tagging, adding users to Facebook Groups is a huge no-no and will land you in Facebook Jail for sure. Avoid Facebook jail, be considerate with your posts and make sure to personally invite individuals to your groups. You’ll be glad you did!

Use  Facebook wisely to avoid jail
I hope you got value from this post.
